Lauren Sánchez discusses her relationship with Jeff Bezos and how he proposed.

The 53-year-old helicopter pilot and former news caster appears in Vogue December 2023. She describes her years-long contact with the Amazon founder in the story.

The magazine reported that Bezos proposed to Sánchez on his huge boat “Koru”. After a lovely supper, she found the ring under her pillow before bed.

“When he opened the box, I think I was a little stunned,” she told Vogue.

She stated the pair is still planning their wedding.

“We are still thinking about the wedding,” she said.How will it be? Will it be big? Going abroad? We don’t know. We’ve been engaged five months!”

After four years of dating, Bezos, 59, and his bride-to-be told TODAY.com they were engaged in May.

While their wedding plans are still in progress, Sánchez has decided to take her fiancé’s last name.

“Yes, one hundred percent true,” she said concerning the name change. “I’m looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos.”

For the piece, the executive chairman, former president, and CEO of the world’s largest e-commerce company were interviewed. He described his friendship with Sánchez, praising her sensitivity and understanding.

Lauren has exceptional perception, almost witchcraft. She sees things others don’t. He thanked her for being sensitive to others’ thoughts.

Bezos then described his growth since dating.

He said, “She really helped me put more energy into my relationships.” She continually told me, ‘Call me, call dad, call mum.’ She’s also a great role model.”

Sánchez liked her husband-to-be’s bubbliness too. Known as “the life of the party.”

The report quoted Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, famous friends. Jenner praises Sánchez’s vitality. Jenner posted a scene from their engagement on Instagram in August. After their celebrations, Sánchez uploaded photos of her in white and silver bridal clothes.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that she was the morning news anchor of Fox’s “Good Day LA” in her youth. So You Think You Can Dance’s debut season was hosted by Sánchez, who later hosted “Extra”. She received a 1999 Emmy.

According to one account, Sánchez studied journalism at USC on a scholarship before becoming a host. According to Vogue, she attended at El Camino College at 19 while struggling with dyslexia.
