Kevin Hart described the goat he gave Chris Rock as “a real moment,” aside from calling him “Will Smith” in jest during the onstage exchange.

Kevin Hart literally got Chris Rock’s goat.

At the conclusion of their combined Saturday performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where Dave Chappelle also joined them, Hart, 43, shocked Rock, 57, on stage with a goat, a reference to Hart’s belief that Rock is the greatest of all time.

“What are you gonna nаme this goat, Chris?” questioned 48-year-old Chappelle to Rock during a brief break in the show.

Hart answered, “The nаme is Will Smith,” to laughter from the audience.

But seriously, as Hart recalled the special moment, “[Chris is] my G.O.A.T. — he’s my guy,” she said to Jimmy Fallon on Monday’s episode of The Tonight Show. “And I wаnted him to feel that and experience the world of understanding how I feel about him in front of that audience.”

Hart said, “[Chris] almost broke down and cried onstage,” following his description of the audience’s applause for Rock. It was a genuine occasion. That’s not something you see enough of in our culture; we don’t share the limelight or demonstrate alignment.”

Hart’s “Will Smith” remark alluded to the March Academy Awards incident in which Will, 53, Һit Rock after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head. (Jada, fifty, has alopecia.)

Following his social media apologies to Rock, Will resigned from the Academy and was prohibited from attending any Oscar-related activities for the next ten years.

Hart stated earlier this month on Entertainment Tonight that he is still friends with Will and that he hopes they can work things out.

“Will is sorry, you know that. Naturally, he’s in a better place than what he was pursuing,” Hart remarked. “Being human means that we occasionally make mistakes. It is therefore important to acknowledge the present and make every effort to move forward rather than dwelling on the past.

“All I can hope for is that the two of them manage to move past that and find some comfort in that. All I like is positive energy. He went on, “I love to see individuals at their finest. “I still love him, I still love Chris.”

“You can’t judge a person by one thing,” Hart continued. In the end, people grow and life goes on, so provide him the chance to do so.”

Regarding Saturday’s humorous incident involving the farm animal, Hart revealed on The Tonight Show Monday that he had to smuggle the goat into the venue and that “the goat took an s— on the stage”—a fantastic moment that “was not planned.”

“I thought to myself, ‘The goat is going to come out, give it a tight two minutes.’” He s— on Chris’s sneakers instead. He ruined Chris’s sneakers,” the comic said. “Chris had on some white moon boots and that goat got him.”
