Michelle Obama’s 23-year-old daughter Sasha poses at rooftop bar with her mother on bittersweet day in rainbow heels.

Michelle and Barack Obama are proud parents of Sasha and Malia.

In the weeks since Marion’s deаth, Michelle Obama has struggled, but on Monday, she celebrated her youngest daughter Sasha. 

To celebrate Sasha’s 23rd birthday, the former FLOTUS posted a rare snapshot of them at a rooftop bar on Instagram. 

Michelle looked stunning in a translucent black dress, while Sasha chose a multicoloured mаxi dress with rainbow heels. 

In caption, Michelle wrote: “Happy birthday, Sasha! You make me very proud. Hope this year delivers you everything you want and more. I love you.” 

Barack Obama also honoured Sasha on Instagram. The former president shared a childhood photo of them. 

Fans commented on the photo, saying “What a lovely picture,” and “Sasha is so beautiful.” A third said, “She’s your double!” 

Barack sat on the grass with Sasha on his lap. “Happy birthday, Sasha! Great to see you making your mark in the world, and you’re just getting started!” he wrote. 

Sasha lives with her 25-year-old sister Malia in Los Angeles while studying at USC. 

Since they spent their childhoods in The White House, the brothers are quite close. 

They were close to their grandma Marion, who took care of them during Barack’s eight years in government and kept them grounded. Malia has abandoned her surname and worked as Malia Ann, and both siblings have avoided the spotlight. 

In November 2022, Michelle joked on Today with Hoda and Jenna that she was astonished by her kids’ house regulations, saying, “I’m like: ‘You never used a coaster in my house.'” Michelle and Barack frequently visit their daughters in LA.Now that it’s yours, you want to maintain it?” She informed hosts they loved cocktails at their daughters’ house, but “the martinis were weak. It was probably unknown to them.” 

The sisters are closer now, but not always. Her message to Hoda and Jenna: “I adore that those girls are best friends. They couldn’t bear each other at times.” 

She revealed her advise to her daughters to repair their relationship “I said, ‘You wait. Someday, you’ll wake up and realise you and that other person share something special.
