F.at Joe talks about his 33-year-old son Joey, who has au tism: ‘My life would have no meaning without that angelic fa ce’

Fat Joe is sharing details about his experience as a four-parent father.

During his Tuesday appearance on The View to promote his recently published memoir, The Book of Jose, host Ana Navarro praised Fat Joe’s “most beautiful family.” She even had an embrace with the rapper as he left, mentioning their long-standing friendship.

“You live for them,” she stated, enumerating Joe’s spouse Lorena, daughter Azariah, 16 — “who has you wrapped around her little finger,” Navarro jokingly remarked — and sons Ryan, 26, and Joey, 32.

Regarding his autistic son Joey, the rapper discussed incorporating his son’s narrative into his novel.

“My whole book is a book of transparency,” he said. “It’s about successes and setbacks. It’s about facing adversity and knowing that, in the end, you can smile.”

Declaring himself “so proud” of Joey, he praised him as the “Don of the family.”

He motivates me. The rapper remarked, “He’s such a blessing in our life; he’s almost like an angel.” “It’s the gift that keeps giving, little Joey, and I’m so proud of him.”

While honoring Joey’s birthday in December of last year, Fat Joe—who raised Joey as a single father from the age of 19 till his marriage—reflected on his experiences as a father.

“How do you express your gratitude to someone who has brought you so much joy in life? How do you express gratitude to your closest and most devoted friend? Joey is my heart and soul, and I am very proud of him,” the rapper from “All the Way Up” said.
