SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois State Fair has revealed that on Wednesday, August 14, the Illinois State Fair Grandstand will host five-time GRAMMY Award winner and multiplatinum rap artist Lil Wayne.

Wayne is the first male artist to top Elvis Presley’s list of the Billboard Hot 100 with an astounding 109 entries. Furthermore, sales exceeding 100 million records globally solidified his reputation as one of the greatest-selling musicians of all time. In addition, he won eight NCAAP Image Awards, two MTV VMAs, four Billboard Music Awards, and eleven BET Awards.
