For two shots that were filmed early on Monday morning across the city, he was dressed in layers.
Drake has some intriguing projects in the works, which is comforting to know while we all wait impatiently for him to announce the release date of his new album, Certified Lover Boy. The rapper “Nice for What” was observed filming two sequences for a new music video early on Monday morning; etalk has the exclusive images.
Around 4:30 a.m. on Monday, the Toronto native was seen wearing a covered up look while making the video in downtown Toronto. He shot two scenes: one while hanging from the side of a Maybach SUV that was completely decked out in Prada, and the other near Yonge and Dundas.

The music video appears to be for one of his new songs from Certified Lover Boy, we believe. The rapper, 34, had surgery on his knee, thus he postponed the album’s release date that was initially scheduled for January.
He stated in January, “I was planning to release my album this month, but my energy has been dedicated to recovery between surgery and rehab.”
“CLB won’t be dropping in January, but I’m blessed to be back on my feet, feeling great, and focused on the album,” he said.
Last week, DJ Akademiks provided an update on Certified Lover Boy during a live stream. “Update on CLB.” Some others have said things like, “Oh, it was supposed to drop tonight,” referring to Thursday night. No. No, it won’t decline at that point, he stated.
“Drake informed me that he won’t be waiting until summer to drop his sh-t; it will drop before April.” I prefer not to speak before April. April or earlier,” he continued.
Drake spent “so much time on this project,” according to Akademiks, that he’s not attempting to release a surprise, unlike with If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, which dropped in February 2015.
In October of last year, Drake celebrated his 34th birthday by releasing a minute-long album trailer. There are visual allusions to his earlier albums, Take Care, Nothing Was The Same, and Dark Lane Demo Tapes, in this clip.
