Lil Wayne Performs ‘God Did’, ‘Mr. Carter’, ‘Right Above It’ & More Live In New Mexico

Fans of the rapper were abruptly informed that Lil Wayne would not be attending a planned show in Las Vegas on Saturday night. This is just the most recent in a string of cancellations the artist has made in recent months.

The rapper was scheduled to appear as the main act at the Life is Beautiful festival this past weekend, which also featured musical and comedic performances by Post Malone, Janelle Monae, Jonathan Van Ness from “Quееr Eye,” and Fred Armisen from “Saturday Night Live.”

When a written message appeared on event monitors, fans who had gathered for his scheduled 9:20 p.m. gig were informed that the rapper would not be performing.

“I regret to inform you that Lil Wayne will not be performing tonight. “We apologize for any inconvenience,” were written on the signs, which bore the Life is Beautiful emblem.

Lil Wayne and Life is Beautiful spokespeople have been contacted by USA TODAY for comments.

Rоb Sherrell wrote, “I hope Lil Wayne is okay,” along with a picture of screens announcing Wayne’s cancellation. “He’s been pulling out of a lot of show dates and he just cancelled on us at Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas.”

Tana Mongeau, a YouTuber, stated that she was sad not to see Wayne play after flying to Las Vegas for the festival.

She joked that she had “100%” jinxed the concert, writing, “That’s the Ninth Time I’ve Paid for a Show and He Cancelled.”

Yesterday, another admirer tweeted that he was finally going to see Lil Wayne live and that he would be “smiling” just like he did when he was fifteen.

A few hours later, @BobbyBasedgod commented, “And he decided not to show up.” “Officially done with Lil Wayne.” User @Jamison_lundemo continued, “I’m so salty (Lil Wayne) didn’t show at #LifeisBeautiful2019.”

Wayne claimed he was ejected from a St. Louis hotel that morning, so he canceled his scheduled engagement on his joint tour with Blink-182.

Around ten in the morning on September 14, Lil Wayne’s group and hotel employees got into a verbal altercation over claims that the rapper’s room was smelling of marijuana, according to a statement made at the time by Cpl. Jenny Schwartz and the public information officer of the Clayton Police Department to USA TODAY.

The next day, the rapper apologized to his followers on Twitter, stating that he wouldn’t be performing in St. Louis since he had been “kik’d out” of his hotel. “But it’s all love,” he continued.

However, Schwartz clarified that, contrary to what his tweet implied, the rapper and his group departed the hotel on their own free will. There was no legal action done.

Was there a gunshot during the stampede at Lil Wayne’s music festival? Several people are hurt.

He allegedly left a Virginia stage midway through a concert earlier this summer after becoming irate with the size of the audience.

He halted one of his songs and said, “Hold on, I just want the people to know, if you’re wondering, please forgive me but I am so not used to performing to a crowd – and there’s not too many – that’s not my swag.” “Make some noise in honor of Blink-182 for having me on the tour, even though I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to do it. But tonight might be my last. Come on, let’s go.

Later on Twitter, the rapper gave supporters reassurance that he would not be ending the tour by stating, “Yesterday was crаzy! But I want to let everyone know that I’m not calling it quits on this trip! I’m enjoying myself excessively with my brothers Blink-182.

Jay-Z is a “true friend,” according to Lil Wayne, because he helped him with his taxes.
