Converse, a renowned brand of leisurewear and footwear, and Liverpool FC have joined forces to produce a second limited-edition capsule collection.
Reflecting a new generation of international football enthusiasts, the collection is imaginative and varied, with elements such as the club’s signature colors, architecture, and typeface providing inspiration. We admire it already.
Important items include the Converse x LFC Star Player 76, a premium androgynous puffer jacket available in a limited edition, a Converse x LFC cotton jersey Crew featuring illustrated illustrations inspired by LFC, and Converse x LFC Chuck 70 high-top sneakers featuring a color-blocking and gradient design inspired by the club’s renowned away colors.
The subsequent collection in the collaborative effort between Converse and Liverpool FC honors the supporters and anthems of Anfield while commemorating the club’s heritage and promoting its future.
The partnership will also result in a transformation of the corresponding campaign, ‘Creating From The Ground Up,’ from a source of inspiration to an impetus for action, as Converse will provide a platform for Liverpool FC supporters to contribute to the campaign’s production.
In addition to members of the senior men‘s and women‘s Liverpool squads Darwin Nunez, Taylor Hinds, and multi-disciplinary creative Dredz, as well as singer-songwriter Pixey and artist Sterling Rose Kelly, the campaign features a cast of Liverpool supporters who are both lifelong supporters and creatives in their own right.
