Court documents filed on Thursday named the rapper, also known by Diddy, Puff Daddy, and Love, among others, on charges of physically and sexually abusing Cassie on and off for nearly a decade, beginning in 2007.

Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, issued a statement announcing the settlement, stating that the ex-spouses had agreed to terms “to their mutual satisfaction.”

The 37-year-old R&B performer (actual nаme: Casandra Ventura) issued the following statement: “I have reached a mutually agreeable resolution on parameters over which I retain some authority. My family, supporters, and attorneys are to be thanked for their unwavering support.

Combs further stated that the situation had been “amiably” resolved and extended his best wishes to Cassie and her family.

Ben Brafman, the attorney for the music impresario, initially stated that Combs “vehemently” denied the incendiary allegations, but later stated that the legal settlement “in no way” constituted “an admission of wrongdoing,” according to Page Six.

“Mr. Combs’ unequivocal repudiation of the allegations is not in any way compromised by his settlement agreement with the plaintiff. He is delighted that a mutual settlement was reached and extends his best wishes to Ms. Ventura.
