Lil Wayne and Birdman reconnected like old times on Sunday night (Jan. 17), standing tall on the DJ booth at Miami’s LIV nightclub, after a year of rumors of bad blооd in the Cash Money camp.

Standing next to a black-clad Weezy, Baby declared, “This my motherfuckin’ son and I for him, Ima live for him, and I’ll go for him.” ” it isn’t going to change forever. It’s YMCMB forever, and we’re going to have a great time.

The feeling is a far cry from what happened six months prior, when Wayne was performing at the same popular South Beach venue, and Birdman allegedly hurled a drink at his beloved “son.” Wayne even threatened to sue Cash Money CEO for $51 million in January of last year over unpaid royalties and song rights. Along with Young TҺug, Birdman was accused in an indictment as a conspirator in relation to an April shooting that involved Wayne’s tour bus (he has subsequently refuted the allegations).

Even so, a few weeks after partying and taking pictures together at Drake’s recent New Year’s Eve concert at Miami’s E11even nightclub in the downtown area, the couple was beaming. The New Orleans rapper looked perfectly at home as he performed in favor of his street-wear brand, Trukfit, which is currently introducing a higher quality aesthetic with pieces like jogger trousers and bоmber jackets. Wayne showed there at 2:30 in the morning ET, smoking and drinking with his group while holding a lone cup. Among the VIPs present were Floyd Mayweather and Jim Jones.

Wayne raced through a number of classics, including “A Milli,” ” Love Me,” and “We Be Steady Mobbin’.” The father figure and Cash Money co-founder took the platform to speak his mind on the state of YMCMB and any critics, and attendees nearly gasped when they saw Birdman standing next to him.
