During an interview on Episode 3 of Season 2 of Weezy’s Young Money radio program on Apple Music, undisputed boxing champion Terence Crawford spoke with Lil Wayne about Eminem’s separation from Crawford following their figҺt against Errol Spence last summer.
Young Wayne: I hope you realize what a legend you are, Eminem, for convincing him to walk away with you. No one does he do that for. Seriously, Em doesn’t even appear in programs.
Terence Crawford: “That absolutely threw me off. When he commented on my Instagram status update, I simply exclaimed, “Wow!” I was astounded when he responded to my comment and struck me in the inbox; I thought, “Oh my God, it’s really going down.” I was initially sceptical, but as soon as he and I arrived, I was like, “Oh my God, this is for real!” Everything transpired precisely as it was intended to.
Lil Wayne: Respect Em, brother. I also witnessed him at the Tyson bout. Tyson Fury adversary. As soon as I noticed him ascending, I thought, “Dаmn, they got Em out here!” And he was surrounded by approximately one million individuals, which appears to be extremely aggravating.
Crawford became the first male in the era of four belts to secure the undisputed championship in two weight divisions with a technical knockout in the ninth round, triumphing over Spence.
