Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have recently bonded over their shared passion for lip salve on a television screen near you.

The beauty entrepreneur, 36, and rapper, 35, have just uploaded Born to Steаl: Yours, Mine, Ours, a nearly two-minute short film, to YouTube in support of their first beauty collaboration, Fenty Skin Lux Balm, which debuted in January.

A black-and-white, old Hollywood-inspired spot in which Rihanna remаins silent while “lips speak louder than words,” as the clip’s description puts it.

Rihanna gives the camera one of her signature gazes as a narrator commences, “She was an elegant lady, but she had peculiar ways of expressing affection.”

The narrative continues by describing how a woman (Rihanna) pilfers her lover’s affections—including material possessions—from him (A$AP Rocky).

The narrator further states, “The more ruthless among the species, the females are reputed to amass wealth from the unsuspecting male,” while the Diamonds vocalist removes one of his blazers from the closet.

Rihanna subsequently applies the salve to Rocky’s lips while in bed. Additionally, her fragrance appears on her bedside.

The video was made available after hours of anticipation.

Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin Instagram accounts resurfaced a video on February 27 featuring her stating to Complex, “Any collaboration between me and Rocky is going to be fire.” The caption of the video was “@badgalriri x @asaprocky 🤍 2.28.24 📺.

Rocky was moved to a black heart when Rihanna uploaded a teaser of the video to her Instagram feed later that day.

A$SP and Rihanna are both In January, Rocky’s face salve was introduced.

In a press release for the collaboration, he stated, “Introducing new Lux Balm, Fenty Skin 4her, 4him, 4all,” while Rihanna said, “We have created the most evil lip balm available! This product is the epitome of effortless lip care; it provides immediate hydration and applies like butter. “My lips feel and appear more radiant than ever, and the sleek packaging is convenient for carrying in a purse or pocket.”

When he issued the single “RIоT (Rowdy Pipe’n)” months prior, Rocky initially alluded to the collaboration. “Flossy, glossy/ This is not lip gloss” “Lux Balm in my palm” “New collaboration with my baby mother.”
