Before Rihanna’s highly anticipated Super Bowl halftime show performance on Sunday, rapper DJ Khaled sent her a heartfelt letter.
“First of all, congratulations. The Super Bowl has a new name. We dubbed it the “RiRi Super Bowl.” I’m going to order a well-done cheeseburger and get my airhorn ready.”
Speaking to Page Six at Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fanatics party at the Arizona Biltmore, the 47-year-old rapper seemed ecstatic as he gushed about his “Wild Thoughts” collaborator, saying: “RiRi, I love you so much.”
Before her much awaited Sunday halftime concert, DJ Khaled gave the founder of Fenty Beauty a special message.
When asked whether fans would see him appear as a surprise performance on stage with Rihanna this weekend, he seemed to be skipping a question.
“My sister is Rihanna, and I’m here as a fan.” I’m eager to watch it. He told other reporters, “I’m here to support,” adding that he was “rooting” for Rihanna rather than the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. “All of us are winners.”
