Even though the Dolphins did not advance to the Suρer Bowl, Thursday night’s performance by local DJ Khaled, which featured an all-star lineup that included Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and Migos, highlighted Miami’s home court advantage.   

Following the Grammy victory of “Higher,” Khaled emphasized, “It’s all about the 305.” During the EA Sports Bowl at Bud Light Suρer Bowl Music Fest, Khaled, clad in a turquoise Dolphins windbreaker, introduced one unexpecteԀ guest after another against a backdrop of blazing suns and fluorescent palm trees.

Rick Ross, the hometown idol, performed “I’m On One” and “All I Do Is Win” with Khaled to begin the lineup.

Trina and Trιck Daddy, two old school musicians, captivated Miami spectators. It was described by Khaled as “historic.”

Onstage, in that order, Ludacris, 2 Chainz, Ball Greezy, Yo Gotti, and Fabolous all performed. Migos’ “Pure Water” had an electrifying effect on the audience, and Lil Wayne contributed to the evening’s conclusion by performing several tracks, including “Uproar.”

Khaled exclaimed, “It is incredible that so many came out to represent Miami at the Suρer Bowl.” As he watched his guests perform, he appeared as enthusiastic as the audience and even paused to capture a few of them on his phone.

A number of individuals honored the late rapper Nipsey Hussle and Kobe Bryant by diminishing the house lights and encouraging attendees to illuminate their phones in memory of the deceased basketball player.

 Peyton and Eli Manning, both retired NFL players, began the event by presenting an EA simulator prediction for the Suρer Bowl on Sunday. Their pick was that the Kansas City Chiefs would prevail over the San Francisco 49ers.

A few years ago, the team embraced the rapper’s “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro)” as their official theme song and provided him with support during his incarceration.

The “Going Bad” singer also invited Yella Beezy, Gunna, and Tory Lanez to join her onstage.
