A mega-mansion on ‘Billionaires Island’ in Dubai reportedly came into the possession of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The superstar of Al-Nassr, who possesses an extraordinary real estate portfolio spanning multiple nations, had a phenomenal 2023 in which he led the world in scoring.
This accomplishment will be recognized at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, where Ronaldo currently resides and for which he earns £175 million annually with the Saudi club.
Bloomberg reports that the Portuguese superstar has purchased a mansion on Jumeirah Bay Island, also referred to as “Billionaires Island” and a secluded enclave in Dubai inhabited by the ultra-wealthy.
According to the report, Ronaldo is expected to acquire the mega-mansion by 2024; its exact features are unknown, but it is estimated to cost tens of milliоns of euros.
To provide some context, a newly constructed mansion available for purchаse on Billionaires Island in 2017 spans an area of 30,000 square meters. It features six bedrooms, private beach access, a showroom accommodating seven automobiles, a spa, a swimming pool overlooking downtown Dubai, and on-site accommodations for employees.
Billionaires Island derives its nаme from the rumored fact that its population density of billionaires per square kilometer is the highest among any other location in the UAE. Bloomberg has also reported that the island is inhabited by affluent Saudis, Israelis, Indians, and Russians.
In the early phases of the pаndemic, portions of the sequestered, seahorse-shaped Jumeirah Bay Island were reportedly being acquired by a developer.
Ten megamansions have been completed after years of construction, with the developer based in Dubai, Palace Luxury Living, estimating the villas would sell for a total of $545 million (£430 million), or £43 million per property.
In addition to numerous other properties, the island is situated within a gated community and features a number of upscale dining establishments, a yacht club, and a beach resort. Furthermore, it confronts the open sea and the renowned Burj Khalifa.
Moreover, while visiting the city, a number of affluent individuals who do not own property on the island utilize the aforementioned luxury resort as a base by lodging there.
