Drake, like a lot of other social media users, shared a few of his year’s highlights in a post to close out 2023. Because Drake is Drake and not like many other social media users, most of what he saw and did was on a different level. For instance, one of his year-end pictures featured a really nice present from Snoop Dogg.
“First thought for 2024: I’m not your emotional support dog,” reads the caption for the photo. (Drake is shown in the first picture with a dog mask.) A few images in show a blunt with a blue bandana next to a piece of paper that says, “July 27, 2023, Blunt rolled by Snoop Dogg, Death Row Records.”
\Drake will undoubtedly have a lot to reflect on in 2023. In October, he dropped his most recent No. 1 album, For All The Dogs. Two No. 1 singles were produced by the project: “First Person
Shooter” featuring J. Cole and “Slime You Out” with SZA. In promotion of their collaborative album Her Loss, which was released in 2022, he and 21 Savage also began their It’s All A Blur Tour. Drake was one of the most played musicians on Spotify, one of the most viewed artists on YouTube, and, just in case his bank account needed a little boost, someone left him a 20-cent tip.
