You don’t always know what you need or want until it comes right up to you, smacks you in the face, and yells, “Money ain’t a thing! Look at my pinky rings!” This is the case with The Coveteur’s most recent article, which takes a look into rapper Rick Ross’s closet and finds some truly luxurious designer clothes and shoes all neatly arranged next to some of the hip-hop superstar’s incredibly silly (in the best way) home decor.
For those who don’t know as much about rap as they do about the Kardashian family, Rick Ross, also known as the Teflon Don, has been a mainstay in the music business since the early 2000s. He took the name of a former drug kingpin and made a lot of money with songs that played on that hustler mentality. It makes sense that when you take on a name with a lot of meaning, your home and way of life have to live up to those unrealistic standards.
And the rapper’s 109-room home in Atlanta lives up to all the hype. This is the same man who had “white horses, ’48 hours worth’ of flowers, and enough champagne to fill his swimming pool (which, by the way, is the biggest pool in the United States)” for his 40th birthday party. The man is not messing around when it comes to style. Ross’s sneaker collection is so big that it would make most rich women’s shoe rooms look tiny. It has separate shelves for all of his favorite shoes, like rare and limited edition Air Jordans and a few favorite pairs of Reeboks. But while the rapper may seem like all gruff swagger and bravado, there’s also a softer side to Ross, as evidenced by his toy figurine collections and a menagerie of MCM-branded leather stuffed animals.
