Jennifer Lopez is trying even harder to sell her Los Angeles home, so the price has been lowered by more than $2.5 million to $39.995 million.

A story from The Wall Street Journal at the time said that the “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer first put the 8-acre property in the Bel Air district, close to the Bel Air hotel, on the market for $42.5 million in February. Records show that the price was dropped on Friday, about 80 days after the first listing.

The estate is for sale with Brett Lawyer of Carolwood Estates. It has a main house that is 12,800 square feet, a guest cottage, a pool, a putting green, and an arena with 100 seats.

The actress and singer, who is 53 years old, changed her nаme in formal papers after she married actor Ben Affleck last year. Public records show that the house was bought with a trust in 2016 for $28 million.

The main house is made of stone, wood, and other natural materials. It was designed by builder Samuel Marx in 1940. Four rooms—a traditional dining room, a family room, and a living room with a bar and a fireplace—make up the house. The advertisement says that each room has access to a large stone patio.

There is also a 30-seat home theater with movie pictures for Ms. Lopez and Mr. Affleck’s past parts in movies like Mr. Affleck’s “Hollywoodland” and Ms. Lopez’s “Monster-in-Law,” which can be seen in the listing photos.
