Golden heart: After inaugurating the football field in his village, Sadio Mané returned to rest at his spacious mansion

On April 10, 1992, Sadio Mané was born in Bambali, Sédhiou, Senegal. He is a forward for Bayern Munich of the Bundesliga and the Senegal national team.

He is a Senegalese football player in professional leagues. His pressure, dribbling, and agility are well known. He is regarded as one of the best players in the world as well as one of the all-time great African players.

At the age of 19, Mané began his professional career with the Ligue 2 team Metz. However, he moved after just one season to play for Red Bull Salzburg in Austria in 2012.

Red Bull Salzburg won the domestic league and cup in the 2013–14 campaign. Mané transferred to Southampton in England later that summer for a then-club-record £11.8 million.

Senegal has 45 departments, with the Sédhiou Department being one of the three that comprise the Sédhiou Region, which was once a part of the Kolda Region. The department is composed of the communes of Sédhiou, Marsassoum, and Diannah Malary.
