Panoramic view of the villa Mike Tyson invested in to meet the conditions for raising his big cat: Swimming pool and large lawn

The former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson paid $2.5 million in 2015 for this quite simple Las Vegas residence. Even though he won more than $400 million in his boxing career, Tyson struggled financially and filed for bankruptcy in 2003, owing $23 million. He allegedly lavished money on numerous residences, vehicles, jewels, and even tigers for pets.

Situated in Henderson, Nevada, at a short distance from the well-known Las Vegas Strip, Tyson’s mansion boasts six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, covering 10,400 square feet. The property, which is located in the posh Seven Hills district on over an acre of ground, has two casitas, one of which is a fully functional apartment.

Luxurious interior features include two magnificent master bedrooms, one on the first floor and one on the second, a wine cellar, and a media room. The property also features a spa, an outdoor kitchen, a disappearing-edge pool, and a covered patio for entertaining.

The floor to ceiling windows, arched entrances, coffered ceilings, stone fireplaces, marble flooring, and a marble staircase are some of the features of this Italian-style home. Though elegant, the home does not resemble Tyson’s previous lavish way of living, which involved buying several houses.

Tyson still has a sizable estate in comparison to typical American residences, so raising the rent is probably a wise financial option, especially in light of the high demand for real estate in the Greater Brisbane area.

Tyson recently made news once more following an altercation aboard an airline. The former boxing champion has maintained his Las Vegas residence and is still well-known in the sports community despite his prior difficulties.
